About the School

Our school, opened in 1908, moved to a new school in 1977,which is situated off Glyn Rhosyn, not far from the main Llanelli to Swansea road.

The main building is of a single storey construction and open plan design. It is planned that some of the larger areas will be partitioned in the forthcoming year. There are also two newer classrooms, a self contained Nursery and an all-purpose hall.
There are substantial hard and grass play areas.

The school serves a reasonably compact area of mainly private housing. It has, at present, besides the head teacher, 11 full time teachers and 3 part-time teachers, of which, one is a Support Teacher and two who have one class on a job share basis.

The aim of this site is to promote the school by celebrating the children’s work. There is plenty to look at by just clicking on the relevant links found on this page.

The school caters for children 4 to 11 years, also providing 2 part time nursery education for pupils who have attained their 3rd birthday.
