Pupil Information - Road Safety Officers

Our new Year 5 Junior Road Safety Officers, Master Dizon and Miss Way have begun their busy year promoting Road Safety in our school. So far they have led a project to encourage children to be safe as passengers in cars, by organising a poster competition, we await the results, there is a cash prize!! They are also going to help to encourage parents to park safely outside our school, reminding them not to park on the double yellow lines.

Future plans include finding out about a new scheme, which encourages children to walk safely to school. We look forward to future developments.

I like being a road safety officer because we get to do many different things. Also because when we put the banner up we can tell people not to park on the
yellow lines and to wear a seat belt in the car.		(Pupil view)
