Pupil Information - Youth Action
Group
The Youth Action Group has been chosen from Year 6, and have
met to discuss ideas for their first project. They voted to make
an impact on the playground, and will be looking at what they
can do to improve things.
They may spend some of their money that last years team won (£100
from the City and County of Swansea for the best Primary school
project). They are eager to organise a fund raising activity,
and may well hold a sponsored car-wash, watch this space for a
really good clean!!!
I think Youth Action is good because it allows children to
enjoy |
| school
and lets us have .more equipment for the school. |

Update
The Youth Action Team decided to raise money for Garngoch Hospital
patients, as their project of the year. They organised a ‘Terrific
Talents’ show, featuring pupils from the school. The evening
was a fantastic success, approximately 50 pupils took part, putting
on a great show of singing, dancing etc. to an enthralled audience
of delighted friends and family. Over £200 was raised which,
along with £180 from the sale of Welsh cakes, will be presented
to Garngoch Hospital in the next few weeks. Well done Youth Action
Team!
